Schedule
Six (6) weekday shifts and two (2) weekend shifts per four (4) week cycleThirteen (13) cycles per yearEach shift is twenty‑four (24) hoursFor weekday shifts, the physician must be on‑site at the hospital between 5 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 AM of each twenty‑four hour shift and available via phone between 10 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PMFor weekend shifts, the physician must be on‑site at the hospital for the entire twenty‑four hour shiftHospital coverage includes rounding on newborns, attending c‑sections (both scheduled and emergent), managing phototherapy, occasional pedi consults to E.D. or floors, and stabilization of newborns for transportOpportunity to teach and precept studentsFaculty opportunity with Quinnipiac University teaching medical studentsCompensation / Benefits
