Maintenence Director

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager performs and / or coordinates all repairs and physical maintenance of the community and individual apartments, ensuring preventive maintenance is scheduled and performed on all equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems throughout the community.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the safe operation and use of hand and power tools used throughout the general maintenance industry.
• Oversees and manages the community maintenance technician(s) and housekeeping staff (hiring, onboarding, and training).
• In partnership with the Executive Director, evaluates, coaches, and performance manages the team consistent with Enlivant policies.
• Inspects building(s) and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs.
• Documents compliance with life safety and regulatory requirements as directed by Federal, State, and local codes.

Working Conditions

Physical Demand Level : Medium. Ability to unilaterally and bilaterally lift, push, and pull 0-20 pounds frequently, and 21-50 pounds occasionally. Constant walking, seeing, hearing, smelling, and talking.
