Responsibilities :
As an Associate - Transactions, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and executing real estate investment opportunities. This position offers the chance to work closely with senior team members, contribute to high-profile transactions, and gain broad exposure across markets and asset classes.
- Investment Analysis – Build and manage detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, capital structures, and return sensitivities.
- Deal Execution – Support all phases of the transaction process, from due diligence and investment committee materials to lender coordination and closing.
- Market Research – Develop deep knowledge of target sectors and geographies through data analysis, site visits, and broker engagement.
- Collaboration – Partner with internal teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of investments.
Expected Outcomes : Within 15 Days
Build familiarity with team workflows, tools, and transaction processes.Begin supporting financial models under senior guidance.Establish working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.Within 30 Days
Independently contribute to investment analyses and initial deal screenings.Draft portions of investment committee materials.Participate in market research, including data gathering and broker meetings.Within 45 Days
Lead select components of due diligence and financial analysis.Confidently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrate the ability to deliver polished, accurate work that adds measurable value to the team’s decision-making.Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field from a top academic institution with a GPA of 3.5 or above.2–3 years of financial analyst experience at a leading financial institution.Direct exposure to real estate investment or acquisitions.Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling; working knowledge of Argus.Strong grasp of capital structures, including debt and equity instruments.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accountability.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.Ability to travel within the U.S.Schedule :
Full-time, based in Washington DC, with hybrid flexibility.
