Team Overview :
The PBO Balance and Control team is an independent unit within Private Banking Operations responsible for reconciliation, quality control, regulatory monitoring, and reporting . The team partners with processing teams, including Lending and Banking, to ensure accuracy and completeness of books, records, and controls across client-impacting products, while mitigating regulatory, financial, and reputational risks .
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, monitor, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and dashboards
- Coordinate and escalate exceptions requiring remediation
- Collaborate with product lines to ensure operational and procedural compliance
- Oversee control functions performed by offshore teams for accuracy and completeness
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting (e.g., FOCUS)
- Identify potential risks and work with relevant teams to mitigate or eliminate risk
- Reengineer manual workflow processes , including Macro development, for process efficiency
