Job Description
Responsibilities Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Dietary Aide to maintain the kitchen and dining room cleanliness, washes dishes, stocks food and other kitchen supplies.
Position Tasks includes but not limited to:
Review menus to determine needs for the set-up of each meal
Serves meals in a pleasant manner
Serves meals in individual settings; apportions servings according to menu combinations or orders for patients
Delivers meals and snacks to the units as directed
Provides assistance on the line such as tray set-up and salad preparation
Under the direction of the cook, measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment
Cleans assigned work areas
Maintains kitchen and dining room in a clean, neat and orderly manner
Washes dishes, pots and pans
Participates as a contributing member of the dietary team
Performs other duties as assigned
SummitRidge Hospital –is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospitplanal is in Lawrenceville (about miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens).

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Culinary School or Vocational Culinary School Preferred
Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred
Hospital Food Service desirable
