License : Pending License accepted

Certifications : MOAB Certification required; BCLS required

Must-Have : No locals within 75 miles; COVID vaccination required; completion of COVID exemption form for medical reasons.

Description :

MOAB certification is required.

If the traveler does not have the MOAB certification, they will receive a 4-hour de-escalation course during their first week.

If they do not pass, their contract may be canceled.

No RQI certifications are accepted.

Home Health travelers will be required to complete a second set of fingerprints upon arrival in case there are children in homes.

Travelers will be responsible for their transportation to and from work.

Mileage is reimbursed at the federal IRS standard mileage rate.

Patient ratios will be 1 : 5.

The facility allows for 40 guaranteed hours per week, with the possibility of being called off three times during the assignment.

There will be no weekend coverage required.

The daily census will be around 190 with approximately five visits per day.

Travelers must possess skills in admission assessment, wound care, pain assessment and management, and other home health care competencies.

Significant change in patient condition must be documented accordingly.

Travelers are required to avoid taking RTO during the first seven days of the contract or on the last day of the contract.

No holiday bundles may be requested except for one.

The traveler should be prepared for compliance documents in a timely manner before starting the contract.

Modules are billable up to 4 hours and are completed during orientation.

All necessary compliance requirements must be fulfilled within specified deadlines.

This position does not offer increased rates for preceptor shifts.

Travelers should be prepared to undergo drug screening within 30 days of starting.

Immediate contract termination will occur if a traveler does not pass the MOAB certification course.
