Overview

Entry-Level Environmental Engineer (Water / Wastewater) at AECOM. This role is in the Water / Wastewater group and is suitable for recent graduates or early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience addressing complex environmental challenges in the planning, design, and implementation of sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure projects with ENRs #1 ranked water engineering firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment processes, distribution, and collection systems.
• Support environmental studies, permitting, and regulatory compliance for water quality and resource management projects.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental documentation, and engineering drawings under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Conduct sampling, data analysis, and modeling to support water quality and environmental assessments.
• Participate in fieldwork, including site visits, condition assessments, and construction observation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD / BIM designers to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices in environmental and water / wastewater engineering.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
