Job Description and Duties
STATE PARK INTERPRETER II (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) SANTA CRUZ DISTRICT / ANO NUEVO STATE PARK
The reporting location for this position is Ano Nuevo State Park, in Pescadero, CA. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Interpreter III.
This position is responsible for the coordination of interpretive operations on the north coast of the Santa Cruz District.
The Interpreter II is a lead for Interpreter I's at Ano Nuevo, Pigeon Point, Half Moon Bay, and Rancho Del Oso. This position joins the district interpretive leadership team and assists with districtwide interpretation including interpretive training, planning of displays, exhibits, and print materials.
This position may work up to 1500 hours per year.
This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.
