This includes routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency response across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systemsall while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, cost efficiency, and GMP compliance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsPrimary DutiesPerform building maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.Respond promptly to work orders, document all repairs, and complete activities through the work order system.Act as a point of contact during facility-related emergencies (power outages, alarms, leaks, equipment failures).Coordinate and oversee external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and large projects.Follow all OSHA, safety, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe work environment.Adhere to Bakerlys Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Secondary DutiesSupport documentation and recordkeeping for inspections, repairs, and compliance audits.Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for facility reliability and safety.CollaborationPartner with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to ensure the facility is operational and efficient.Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and vendors about facility status, repair needs, and timelines.ComplianceEnsure adherence to OSHA, GMP, and company safety policies.Maintain records for audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.Requirements : EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Education and / or experience with industrial electricity, automation control, or mechanical repairs.ExperiencePrevious facility maintenance or general repair experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Hands-on background with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet facility needs.SkillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong time management and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsTechnical certifications in HVAC, electrical, or welding.OSHA or other safety training certifications.Physical RequirementsAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb (including stairs / ladders).Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Dexterity to handle tools, parts, and materials.Vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Work EnvironmentWork primarily on the production floor with exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.Frequent standing, walking, and bending required.Possible proximity to food ingredients, including allergens (wheat, dairy).PPE required at all times (hairnet, beard net if applicable, gloves, safety shoes).Strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards.Location : Easton, PAJob Type : Full TimeFLSA : Hourly Non-ExemptBenefits and PerksCompetitive salary and performance-based bonus incentivesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packagesEmployer-paid life insurance and long-term disabilityFlexible spending accounts (FSA)Additional supplemental insurance options (life, critical, accident, STD)Free stress-management counseling and discounts on health and fitness productsGenerous PTO policy and 401(k) plan with 3% employer match9 paid company holidays40% discount on all company productsOur CommitmentWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, free from discrimination.
