Position Description

ENSCO Inc is a diverse engineering and technology company that provides engineering, science and advanced technology solutions that guarantee mission success, safety, and security to governments and private industries worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Engineer SME to provide advisory & assistance services (A&AS) to support a major defense program, focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle planning and Space Force systems. The Space Systems Command (SSC) team provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC / OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected DoD operational requirements. In addition, they develop, integrate, test, deploy, sustain, and support operations for systems that meet strategic and tactical operational needs. The position is available in El Segundo, CA with a hybrid work arrangement. Duties include but are not limited to :

• Lead the planning, processing, and execution of classified space control space, ground, & C2 systems, ensuring all activities are conducted with precision and adherence to security protocols
• Provide systems engineering expertise during the acquisition process including ways to improve the process
• Provide expert guidance on the design and testing of space systems to ensure seamless integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine schedules, and processes
• Oversee the development and design process of space systems, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
• Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate the successful development and operations of space systems

Salary Range

$150,000 - $220,000 USD
