POSITION DESCRIPTION :

This Full-Time position is responsible for all aspects related to our telecommunication infrastructure. This includes responsibilities for special circuits, voice switching, DC power systems, remote cabinets, environmental systems, and DSL / Fiber access networks. The incumbent is responsible for strategic planning, architecture, design, implementation, and operations of these services throughout the company.

JOB DUTIES :

• Install, configure, and manage DSLAMs and FTTH equipment.
• Turn up and troubleshoot special circuits.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot voice switching systems.
• Ensure environmental and power systems are functioning correctly.
• Maintain documentation and records of telco equipment and assignments.
• Monitor systems for trouble and proactively resolve and document issues.
• Point of contact for other providers and vendors.
• Primary technician for central office service orders and troubles.
• After hours support and maintenance activities as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

SCHEDULE & QUALIFICATIONS :

WAGE RANGE : $25.50 - $30 per hour
