We are seeking a dedicated and passionate General Education Teacher to join our team in Wilmington, MA. This is a contract position that extends through the remainder of the school year.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment while delivering high-quality instruction to students.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with state and district standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Establish a positive and supportive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with special education teachers, support staff, and administrators to address the unique needs of individual students.
- Utilize various teaching strategies, technology, and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents / guardians.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Massachusetts teaching certification in General Education.
- Strong understanding of educational pedagogy, curriculum development, and assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
