Capitol Artificial Intelligence Learning and Innovation Environment (CAILIE) Overview :
Capitol Tech University has invested over $1.3M in GPU infrastructure, including (24) Nvidia H200 GPUs, 400Gbps RoCE networking, and 200TB of NVMe storage. The lab infrastructure will be based on open-source technologies including Linux and Kubernetes. We are looking for passionate infrastructure and AI engineers to help build-out our lab with new capabilities that allow our researchers and students to train, evaluate, and integrate complex workflow agents into different projects across the university.
Position Summary :
The Linux Cloud Engineer is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and daily operations of the CAILIE's technical infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring that all AI systems and services are functioning optimally and securely, supporting both research and educational activities within the lab. This is a full-time on-campus position on our beautiful 52-acre campus in Laurel, MD, on the Baltimore Washington parkway.
