Associate

The New York office of Jones Day is seeking a Capital Markets associate with 4 – 6 years of experience with a sophisticated large or mid-sized law firm for an exciting position covering the full range of ECM and DCM work, including a strong cross-border component. The candidate should have a broad range of transactional experience across both public and private equity and debt securities offerings and representing issuer, investor and underwriter clients. In addition, experience with Exchange Act reporting and corporate governance compliance are required. Candidates should have excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and should be comfortable assuming a lead role in managing the execution of transactions. An ability to work collaboratively with other team members and clients is essential. The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $435,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
