Senior External Consultant, Strategic Partnerships (SureAdhere)
Dimagi is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior External Consultant to drive strategic partnerships and secure clinical trial acquisition for our rapidly growing SureAdhere division.
SureAdhere is a video‑observed‑therapy platform already making a significant impact by supporting medication adherence in care and clinical trial settings globally.
This is a part‑time, independent contractor role (SOW‑based), ideal for a senior business development or global health expert looking to leverage their extensive network and expertise without the commitment of a full‑time employee position. The primary focus is on external engagement, revenue generation, and pipeline building within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a proactive conference and events strategy (domestic and international) to identify, connect with, and deepen relationships across the pharma / biotech industry.
- Build a robust, new network of decision‑makers (e.g., in clinical development, R&D) in high‑priority therapeutic areas.
- Secure trials for the SureAdhere platform, focusing on HIV, Malaria, Neuroscience / Psychiatry, and Obesity therapeutics.
- Qualify, prioritize, and drive opportunities from initial contact through to execution, including leading presentation and discovery calls that articulate the clinical and value propositions of SureAdhere.
- Design, negotiate, and finalize business terms, Proof‑of‑Concept agreements, and Statements of Work (SOWs) for new clinical trials.
- Provide targeted support and momentum‑building for opportunities in other therapeutic areas such as Tuberculosis (TB) and Dermatology, as needed.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all opportunities, contacts, and account status to ensure proper attribution and pipeline transparency.
Required Skills and Experience
8+ years in strategic advocacy, management, or business development within the clinical research, pharmaceutical, or global health technology space.4+ years representing an organization at a senior level, curating high‑leverage engagements, and articulating complex value propositions.Natural ability to build immediate rapport, credibility, and trust with diverse senior pharmaceutical stakeholders.Verifiable track record of leading and closing enterprise‑scale business development deals or winning complex, large‑scale grants.Skilled at identifying and removing deal‑cycle roadblocks and crafting creative pathways to advance and convert new opportunities.Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, technology‑driven environments where processes are rapidly evolving.Willingness and ability to attend a necessary mix of domestic and international conferences and in‑person engagements.Contracting Details
Role is an external consulting position; you will be an independent contractor of Dimagi.Exact weekly effort, initial timeframe, and detailed Statement of Work will be mutually agreed upon before the contract begins.All reasonable and pre‑approved business expenses, including necessary travel, lodging, and conference registration fees required to fulfill the SOW, will be reimbursed according to Dimagi’s standard contractor expense policy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
