About The Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to launch and scale Rippling Banking, a 0 to 1 product inside our Spend suite. This is a rare chance to build something new from the ground up, while still writing code and showing what great engineering looks like.

You’ll be both a manager and a builder, setting the technical direction, hiring and growing top talent, and rolling up your sleeves to ship with your team. Banking is part of Rippling’s finance platform, which powers corporate cards, expense management, travel, accounting automation, and more. As our transaction volume grows from millions to billions each month, the team’s work is critical to making Rippling the operating system for employee spend.

What You Will Do

• Build and launch a new banking product from zero to live
• Own the technical roadmap and set a high bar for engineering quality
• Write and ship code, while coaching and developing engineers on your team
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional leaders
• Lead org-wide initiatives that raise the bar for how we build at Rippling

This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here.

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is :

180,000 - 315,000 USD per year (US Tier 1)
