Primary Purpose
Responsible for overall leadership in payroll services by managing the processing and accuracy of paychecks. Ensure that high performance is maintained through the use of metrics, benchmarks, SLAs, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys. Implement process improvements designed to streamline transactional work in an effort to improve efficiency, improve quality, and reduce cost. Interface as a strategic partner with Corporate Finance / Legal and business unit leadership by executing corporate policy and governance seamlessly to the business units. Provide point of contact and cohesive, collaborative relationships with third party vendors to maintain and enhance service delivery. Support internal and external audit reviews. Support special projects relating to complexities brought about by mergers / acquisitions, union negotiations, software upgrades, tax updates, multi-jurisdictional legal and tax requirements, etc.

Provide strong leadership and oversight to management and union employees. (15%)
Job Scope
Manage a level of spend consisting of $8 Million - $10 Million.
Initiate process improvement initiatives that create a competitive advantage and drive continuous improvement.
Build and maintain relationships with key managers in the customer and strategic partner areas.
Responsible for decisions impacting the service delivery of payroll processing, account reconciliations, benefit reporting, and payroll tax reporting.
Responsible for measuring metrics, customer satisfaction, and SLA levels in Payroll Services

Total number of direct reports : 10
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and a minimum of 12 or more years of overall experience.
At least 5 years of relevant management experience in HR, Payroll (Oracle cloud experience a plus) or financial operations.
Demonstrated ability to select, evaluate, coach, and develop staff.
Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change.
Demonstrated business acumen, employee awareness, and ability to create value.
In lieu of degree 12-15, years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master degree in Business Administration.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors : $125,600.00 / Yr. - $172,700.00 / Yr. plus an additional $25K in Long Term Incentive Plan annually.
