Host / Hostess - $14 / hr plus TIPS Mama Ricottas

After 30 years in business, Mama Ricotta's restaurant is expanding and refreshing its location housed in the Midtown area of Uptown Charlotte.

The Mama Ricotta's team is looking to add a Host / Hostess to our restaurant. We strive to deliver warm and welcoming visits to every guest that walks through the front door.

As a Host / Hostess, you will act as the guest's first and last impression of our team. You will set the tone for their experience and manage reservations / seating guests.

Host Responsibilities Include :

• Happily welcome and greet guests upon arrival
• Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them
• Make reservations for our guests and manage wait list technology
• Know regulars by name (know their preferences and needs)
• Reset tables to our standards before showing guests to their table
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return

We Are Looking for a Host Who :

• Has guest service experience
• Is able to stay calm in high-pressure situations
• Has a warm and welcoming personality
• Has excellent communication skills
• Has a working knowledge of online reservation systems
• Is able to stand for long periods of time
• Can lift up to 25 pounds
• Is a team player and a problem solver
• Thrives in a constantly changing environment
