Overview

Venture Global LNG (\u201cVenture Global\u201d) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company\'s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global\'s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

This position will report to the Manager of Structural Modeling, Design and Draft. This position is located in our Downtown Houston office and is Monday - Friday.

Position Summary

Senior Structural Designer ownership of structural design packages and modeling strategies, ensure accuracy, constructability and efficiency of design deliverables. You\'ll be responsible for mentoring Jr. designers, ensuring quality deliverables and driving digital innovation in modeling and drawing automation. Sr. Structural Designer should have 5 10 years\' experience in FEED design, engineering, fabrication, and construction.

Job Knowledge

• Experience in large scale Petrochemical, LNG onshore project.
• Lead the development of detailed 3D structural model and drawings using Tekla Structures and S3D.
• Will assist or review the cost estimates and quantity take-offs for on-going projects, proposals, forecasts, and change-orders.
• Shall provide technical guidance to contractors / vendors and will generate sketches as needed.
