Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Belleville, Illinois. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and manage month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.
• Handle journal entries with precision, documenting financial transactions effectively.
• Perform account reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of financial data and resolve any variances.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of obligations.
• Manage accounts receivable operations, including tracking payments and resolving outstanding invoices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and compliance requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
