Title : Tax Accountant

Location : Indianapolis

Salary : $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to accuracy and client service.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)

Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues

Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance matters

Maintain accurate and organized client records

Communicate with clients, taxing authorities, and internal team members to resolve issues promptly

Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications :

Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3+ years of recent public accounting or tax preparation experience preferred
