Summary Of Duties :
Plan and direct project work across all dimensions, accountable for project outcomes. Individual in this role use advance knowledge of project management processes and controls to accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. This role will be responsible for managing a substantial number of direct reports or matrixed subordinate team members. The role requires regular analytical and metrics-based reporting to Senior staff, Executive Governance Committees, and external stakeholders. Project Risk : Project / Portfolio (Approx. High / Mega approx. $500M / 5yr+ Program)
Essential Functions :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required OR equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. PLUS 11 years of prior relevant experience required.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities :
$100 M) management experience with strong focus on collaboration, team building, and driving on-time and on-budget project completion.
Preferred Qualifications :
$500M) in the transportation industry environment
Work Environment :
Office building environment. Work in cubicle setting; stand, sit, bend, twist, use file drawers. Sit at computer to complete assignments, projects, and majority of tasks. Ability to work under pressure. Travel requirements : expectation is that this position will be on-site of active construction project (when in construction) 3-5 days per week.
Communications And Interpersonal Skills :
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Pay Transparency :
The salary / hourly range is $163,000-$211,140 , Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc. Depending on an employee's assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee's base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and / or long-term incentive plan compensation.
