What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the government location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor for security-related hazards and report any observed concerns as per Allied Universal guidelines.

Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance as needed.

Document incidents and daily activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal standards.

Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements :

A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
