piano teachers, with teaching opportunities available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 : 00pm - 9 : 00pm, Fridays 3 : 00pm-7 : 00pm, as well as Saturdays and Sundays, if interested, in each of the following locations : Montgomery (9865 Montgomery Rd), Maineville (6400 SR-48, Maineville 45039), and Mason (6682 Tri Way Dr, 45040).

JOB TASKS

The Cincinnati School of Music is seeking

PIANO TEACHERS

Teach piano lessons to children, teens, and adults from complete beginners up to intermediate level music students. All piano lessons are one-on-one.

Assess students' abilities and educational needs and create a plan for piano lessons to ensure musical progress.

Provide encouragement to students and periodic updates to parents about their child's progress.

Be dependable and punctual to ensure piano lessons start and end at their scheduled times.

At CSM, teachers are employees (rather than independent contractors), which means half of Social Security taxes and half of Medicare taxes are paid by CSM, the employer. Employees receive paystubs with a breakdown of tax withholdings, and also W2's, which are helpful to have for many reasons. In short, as an employee, tax-time is much simpler than it is if you are an independent contractor.

At CSM, all teachers are employees, making your tax preparation _much simpler_! Plus, eligible employees have the option to participate in CSM's SIMPLE IRA, in which CSM will match your contributions up to 3% of your annual earnings at CSM. Employees are eligible to participate after one consecutive year of employment at CSM and after meeting the minimum earnings requirement.
