About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Director of Retirement Income Solutions to guide multiple teams of specialists in Health, Life, or Retirement Income. Your leadership will ensure our members receive tailored solutions for their financial security. This role is pivotal in driving product performance and achieving financial goals for our Life Company. You will develop managers, enhance performance, and streamline operations to better serve our members. Your insights will be crucial in optimizing our member acquisition strategies and relationship-building efforts.
This position requires in-office presence for four days a week and is based in Plano, TX; San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; or Tampa, FL. Please note that we do not offer relocation assistance for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and develop teams responsible for Health, Life, or Retirement Income, enhancing leadership skills, coaching effectiveness, and overseeing complex processes.
Drive achievement of product, member, and financial objectives through your team's performance, improving sales productivity and surpassing departmental goals.
Conduct data analysis to influence strategies that meet business outcomes.
Identify, develop, and execute continuous improvement plans to enhance process efficiency, productivity, and member acquisition.
Support regulatory compliance by providing necessary research and documentation for authority inquiries and audits.
Implement strategies to manage seasonal surges in demand through both internal and third-party relationships.
Ensure call center KPIs are in alignment with member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Situation Management and Incident Management teams to mitigate risks that could impact employees and members.
Work closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to interpret regulatory guidelines and advise leadership accordingly.
Assist senior management to ensure that operational plans and training are effectively executed for successful project implementation.
Build and manage a capable workforce by focusing on recruiting, development, performance management, and retention.
Identify and manage risks associated with business operations in accordance with compliance policies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (12 years without a degree).
Ability to obtain necessary licenses within 90 days of employment.
8+ years of experience in financial services operations, focusing on process improvement and business analysis.
4+ years of direct team leadership experience in a coaching and development capacity.
Strong understanding of financial products related to life or health insurance and retirement income.
Preferred Qualifications :
Military experience, either personally or as a spouse / domestic partner.
Active FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65), 24, and 51 (or 53) licenses.
Current Life and Health Insurance license.
MBA or advanced degree in finance or business.
CFP designation or RICP designation.
10+ years of experience in Retirement Planning or Annuities.
5+ years of experience managing investment advisors in a direct distribution context.
3+ years in a leadership role overseeing other managers.
Experience managing investment advisors in a call center setting is a plus.
Salary Range : The position offers a salary range of $114,080 - $218,030 .
