Opportunity Snapshot :
- Compensation : $28-40.00 / hour DOE
- Location : Houston, TX
- Assignment Duration : 12 months+
- Work Schedule : 9 / 80. Position is remote, but candidates must be local, and willing to appear in the office as needed

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Travel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in a travel booking function. 2+ years of experience with complex international ticketingAdvanced proficiency with travel management software, online booking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Mastery of native Sabre GDS functionalities requiredExcellent time management skills, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for problem solvingLeadership track interest is preferred. Supervisor or management experience a plusExperience in traveler facing customer serviceExperience using Teams and SharePointUnderstanding of common travel policiesTeam player mindset and a collaborative spiritIn-House Corporate Travel experience. Experience as a Concur Travel administratorPrior exposure to projects involving large-scale or complex crew changesHigh-School diploma requiredResponsibilities :
Leverage 5-10 years of progressive experience as a professional travel consultant, with significant emphasis on complex international travelMaster native Sabre GDS functionalities (not limited to graphical interface use) for use in handling complex fare construction, exchanges, and ticketingManage crew rotations and understand the operational intricacies involvedManage high-pressure situations, multitask, and deliver exceptional traveler serviceMeticulously complete complex trip planning and booking with minimal supervisionDiscreetly handle sensitive or confidential company informationAdapt to technological change as neededParticipate in team meetings and collaborative projects, contributing ideas and feedback to achieve goalsSupport a positive and inclusive work environment by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and effectively communicatingBalance customer satisfaction with cost-effective solutions, guiding travelers in making decisions that align with the company's financial goals and operational standardsMaintain clear communication with travelers and internal teams to ensure a seamless and efficient travel experienceMaintains active engagement with the travel industry and its regulatory landscapeEstablishes and upholds departmental procedures and standards for the team, with the aim of ensuring optimal safety for employees and contractors during travelFosters a culture of safety and trust by supporting efficient procedures that promote inclusion and continuous improvementPromote, uphold, and remain accountable to the core values of ClientThe Bergaila Way :
