What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment within the location. Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail and mall areas, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with general inquiries and provide directions or guidance within the location as needed. Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements : A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
