Objective of the Role
The Executive Director of Sales and Merchandising will be tasked with managing and developing fruitful relationships with key retail accounts including those in the Farm & Home and Sporting Goods sectors. The role's primary objective is to ensure alignment with market expectations while driving product line development and overall company growth.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in the apparel industry with a strong emphasis on private label experience. They should have a proven track record of success in sales, particularly with retailers such as Tractor Supply, Rural King, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and similar chains. Seniority is preferred, though not strictly defined, and familiarity with relevant software and systems is anticipated.
