Patient Referral Coordinator

A company is looking for a Patient Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide a list of appropriate physicians based on members' clinical conditions and preferences

Complete prior authorization and pre-authorization requests in various systems

Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of member requests and escalate complex cases as needed

Required Qualifications :

High school degree or equivalent required; post-secondary diploma / degree preferred

1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment required

Prior Referral Coordinator experience preferred

Proficiency in medical terminology and coding requirements

ICD 10 coding certification preferred
