Consulting Systems Engineer

Requirements :

• 7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in presales / consulting
• Must have prior experience in supporting Army customers; a veteran with prior service in the US Army and tactical systems experience is highly desired
• Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following is highly desired : DELL EMC, NetApp, VMWare, AWS and Hybrid / Multi-Cloud.
• Technical expertise in two or more of the following : Compute, Storage, Cybersecurity, Virtualization and Cloud technologies
• Ability for 25% travel; possibility of up to 50% travel
• Must have ability to pass a Federal Security Clearance; active Security Clearance strongly preferred (Top Secret)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and technical sales skills

What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Consulting Systems Engineer to support our Public Sector Army National Guard and US Army Corps of Engineers Sales team. This position will be focused on Army presale engagements centered around WWT's core capabilities : Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Transformation. Day to day responsibilities will include participation in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work. The CSE will team with Client Managers to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEM's and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to 50%.
