What You’ll Do
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment to ensure the proper function while minimizing downtime.
Prior experience diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment is a must.
- Adhere diligently to all safety procedures and policies, including wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and required uniforms.
- Utilize hand tools and battery-operated tools safely and effectively.
- Complete emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
- Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and make machine adjustments.
- Maintain documentation on equipment condition, troubleshooting, and corrective actions taken for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated and system assembly equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance on tooling and equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with proper quality processes, including QMS / ISO standards.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
Qualifications To Be Successful
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 5 years of prior experience in mechanical maintenance role.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills required, including the ability to use hand and power tools for product assembly.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Team player with positive outlook.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, or pull items for the entire shift (8-10 hours per day)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with production teams and leadership regarding the status of equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Nice To Have
Associates or 4-year bachelor’s degree from a Trade School, Technical School, in Engineering or similar technical skillset.
