About the Role :

The Sand & Metal Blast Lead is responsible for overseeing and executing surface preparation processes using sand and metal blasting techniques to ensure optimal quality and finish of materials and components. This role requires managing the blasting team, coordinating daily operations, and maintaining equipment to meet production schedules and safety standards. The lead will work closely with quality control and production departments to ensure that all blasted surfaces meet or exceed client specifications and industry standards. Additionally, the position involves training and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and promote a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Sand & Metal Blast Lead plays a critical role in delivering high-quality finished products that support the company’s manufacturing and maintenance objectives.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sand and metal blasting operations.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of blasting equipment, media types, and surface preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to abrasive blasting.
