Soliant Education is partnering with a forward-thinking school district near Oak Park, IL, in the search for a dedicated School Social Worker.
This is an immediate opportunity, and we're seeking a passionate professional ready to make a positive impact on the lives of high school students.
Your Mission :
As a School Social Worker, you'll play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students in grades 9th through 12th.
Your responsibilities will include :
Key Responsibilities :
Caseload Management :
- Engage with high school students to understand and address their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a holistic support system for each student.
Universal Screenings and Assessments :
- Administer assessments to identify social and emotional challenges among students.
- Analyze data to tailor interventions and support strategies.
Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS) :
- Implement and contribute to a Positive Behavioral Intervention system that fosters a positive school culture.
- Develop and reinforce positive behavior support plans for individual students.
Workshops and Education :
- Facilitate workshops for students, parents, and staff on relevant social and emotional topics.
- Provide resources and tools to enhance social-emotional learning within the school munity.
Crisis Intervention :
Be a frontline responder during crisis situations, providing emotional support and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure student well-being.
Requirements :
PEL in IL for School Social Work : Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois specifically for School Social Work.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, extending through the end of the school year (June 10th). Your dedication will contribute significantly to the well-being and success of high school students.
