We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, Washington. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, including managing accounts payable and receivable processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong accounting expertise.

Responsibilities :

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including monitoring and verifying payments.
• Perform daily cash verifications and prepare documentation for bank deposits.
• Reconcile credit card deposits and maintain detailed check registers.
• Organize and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable files to ensure compliance.
• Prepare refunds for license holders and verify related documentation.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations for both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with financial reconciliations, including balance sheets and expense accruals.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and journal entries.
• Utilize Great Plains Dynamics software for accounting tasks.
