FP&A Manager
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning functions for the Company. In addition to managing the consolidated forecasts / plans, this position will work with corporate functions to determine detailed financial plans and monthly reporting against the plan. This role will also support the VP of Finance by developing financial, operational, and strategic models and presentations in preparations for a Sponsor sale or Public Offering.
Core functions include leading the annual budget and periodic forecasting process to improve accuracy and drive results, implementing and maintaining an effective planning and analysis strategy, leading key projects and lending financial support in preparation for Public Offering or another Sponsor related exit, improving management reporting by providing oversight to Business Intelligence system, coordinating, developing, and updating written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process, responsible for the Balance Sheet reporting and forecasting including a specific focus on the elements of working capital, providing analysis on segment price, volume and product mix for sales and cost of sales, and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, 3-5 years of corporate accounting or financial analysis experience required, experience with financial forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling, experience with Business Intelligence (BI), thorough understanding of financial planning and modeling tools; Hyperion Financial Modeling (HFM), and skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%).
This position plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the employees within the department function. Has direct reports. This position is subject to Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. This position is subject to the following physical activities : talking, hearing, the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in repetitive motions. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and / or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and / or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
