Job Summary :
Physical Therapist will provide care in an uncoventional setting. Care will be provided on and off the horse, using traditional modalites and hippotherapy techniques.
Job Duties :
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with varying diagnoses : Orthopedic, neurological, developmental delay, trauma, congenital
- Establish and modify treatment plans of care, in collaboration with physician(s)
- Supervise therapy assistants and guide volunteer network during hippotherapy sessions.
- Collaborate with Occupational and Speech therapy in treatment ideas, duration, and effectiveness
- Participate in community events, impacting not-for-profit partnership
- Provide comprehensive documentation for billing purposes
Education / Experience
State license required2-5 years, pediatric experience, preferredBasic knowledge of horse safetyInsatiable love for the outdoors and Flo-Rida stylePhysical Demands
