Location : Boulder, CO (Hybrid Schedule)

Compensation : Up to $85,000 annually + benefits

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our accounting team. Responsibilities of Property Accountant :

Manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of properties, including commercial and / or residential.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.

Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and balance sheet accounts.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end close.

Property Accountant will prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses in collaboration with property managers.

Review and analyze lease agreements for proper accounting treatment.

Assist with CAM reconciliations, billings, and recoveries.

Support external audits and provide documentation as needed.

Collaborate cross-functionally with property management and leadership teams.

Qualifications for Property Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, MRI, or similar preferred) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
