McAlister's Deli - Front of House Team Member Full Time

As a Full Time Front of House Team Member, you are more than a cashier or a server; you are a creator of memorable moments - you'll be essential in providing that genuine Southern Hospitality and the McAlister's Touch that keeps our guests coming back. You'll guide guests through their dining experience, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive until they leave. Reports To : Shift Leader / Assistant Manager / Assistant General Manager / General Manager
Key Responsibilities :
- Embody Our Hospitality Philosophy : Be the face of our "Genuine Connection is the Main Ingredient" culture, using your empathy and personality to transform a simple meal into a special experience for our guests.
- Guest Interaction & Ordering :
◦Warmly greet every guest with a positive and friendly attitude .
◦Accurately take guest orders in person or by phone, using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
◦ Confidently guide guests through the menu, making helpful suggestions and suggestively selling beverages, sides, and desserts to enhance their meal.
◦Handle guest payments accurately, including cash handling procedures.
Service & Dining Room Operations :◦Deliver food and drink orders to guests efficiently and courteously, confirming accuracy.
◦ Provide ongoing, attentive service in the dining room, such as refilling drinks and checking on guest satisfaction.
◦ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room and guest areas, including cleaning tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms.
◦Perform cleaning and sidework duties as assigned by management.
Teamwork & Support :◦Work effectively with other team members in both the front and back of house to ensure a smooth operation.
◦Be ready to multitask and assist where needed, especially during busy periods.
Requirements :
A natural passion for making people feel welcomed and cared for.This role is fast-paced and requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to deliver exceptional service quickly and accurately.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) and lift and transport items such as bus tubs, dining chairs, and high chairs (up to 30 pounds).Must be 16 years of age or older and be able to obtain and maintain a state-approved Food Handler's license.Ability to perform duties requiring bending and reaching .Excellent oral communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Basic math skills for cash handling.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.Demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail .Reliable attendance and flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by business needs.Adhere to McAlister's uniform and grooming policy.Own and be able to effectively use a smartphone to access our company's mobile application for essential job functions.Must be able to work Full Time, minimum ~32 hours per weekWhat We Offer :
