Job description

Position Overview :

Dechen Consulting Group is looking for an experienced Business Development manager to join our team. This role will focus on acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth within our professional services offering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emerging enterprise IT services, including Data and AI, Cloud, ERP. You will be responsible for presentations to Director and VP-level stakeholders, requiring excellent presentation and consultative sales skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • New Business Acquisition : Lead efforts to identify and acquire new clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Client Engagement : Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored IT solutions.
  • Presentation Skills : Support senior leadership in preparing compelling presentations to Director and VP-level stakeholders, effectively communicating value propositions.
  • Lead Generation : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Negotiation and Closing : Work with Senior leadership to negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the client and Dechen Consulting Group.
  • Market Insight : Analyze market trends to identify the most in-demand IT services, ensuring our offerings meet client needs.
  • Proposal / RFP Response Development : Manage the end-to-end development of proposals and RFP responses, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
  • Sales Ops : Establish and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency in achieving sales targets.

Qualifications :

  • 3-5+ years of experience working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions.
  • Proven experience in selling enterprise IT / SaaS solutions or staff augmentation services.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a track record of successfully pitching for new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through lead generation and account management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience managing major national accounts.
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving result
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales revenue and margins
  • Compensation :

    We offer a competitive base salary along with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) model.

    Location : Detroit Metro / Remote
