What you’ll do

Assist in tendering outbound freight to various freight forwarders and coordinating shipment pickups

• Support communication between carriers, freight forwarders, and distribution centers to align transportation schedules
• Analyze freight forwarder performance (e.g., on-time pickups, delivery rates, cost-efficiency) and present improvement recommendations
• Conduct order compliance audits to ensure export orders meet regulatory standards and identify training or process gaps
• Review carrier communication logs to identify recurring issues or bottlenecks and develop standard response templates
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and transportation processes

What makes you a good fit

A current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Computer Science / Engineering

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Basic knowledge of Power BI is preferred for data visualization and reporting

Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and insights

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

Additional information

This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.

The anticipated start date for this internship is January 12, 2026, and the anticipated end date is May 15, 2026.

This position requires you be available to work ~20 hours / week.

The salary for this role is $22-$27 / hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
