We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Trainer.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Technical Trainer to educate people in a technological field. This individual will design, develop, implement, and evaluate technical training programs for our brands and products.

The technical trainer must be able to identify the main objectives of our products and must possess the ability to explain key concepts and principles to our stakeholders.

This individual will also work in close collaboration with other internal teams to develop course content and goals.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging classroom training, both virtually and in person, for our customers, partners, and members of our internal sales force.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on your designated Brand and Products.
  • Continually identify learning needs of target audiences and seek out opportunities to expand our customer reach.
  • Collaborate with Training Manager to improve training materials and share innovating ideas and stay up to date on trends in the product and customer training fields.
  • Participate in Train-the-Trainer session with large accounts.
  • Keep stakeholders up to date on the status, effectiveness, and roadmap of your training programs to foster maximum utilization of your expertise and training.
  • Assist the Training Team as needed for consistency in training deliveries and philosophies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, education, communications, or other related program of study preferred.
  • Proficient in delivering technical training using learner-focused activities for a broad range of audiences.
  • Experience in the Electronic Security Industry (Intrusion and Access Control) preferred.
  • Experience in training performance coaching and enablement
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills, both in-person and virtually
  • Experience managing classroom groups of up to 15 participants and facilitating breakout and group activities.
  • Ability to travel for business needs.
  • Ability to lift training material up to 50 pounds.
