Vice President of Business Development

Position Purpose : As the Vice President of Business Development, you will be responsible for leading long-term growth initiatives by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities and revenue streams. You will define, develop and execute organizations business development strategy to achieve growth targets. The Vice President of Business Development prospects and develops leads including leading response to requests for proposals (RFPs).

Location : This position is full-time (40-hours / week) Monday-Friday working either remote in the United States or onsite at our 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC location. Travel is required.

What Youll Do :

  • Develop and implement initiatives and programs to assist organization to meet long term goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates organizational performance, strengths and weakness, and competitive landscape in order to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure business development plans are positioned and communicate appropriately.
  • Responsible for development of new account sales and ensuring sales objectives are met.
  • Manage existing partnerships and relationships with consultants and brokers to ensure continued value and mutual growth.
  • Researches / compiles presentations and sales materials as needed.
  • Coordinates client and agent input into renewal process.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities and understand industry trends.
