Job Description
This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled transportation professional who wishes to be part of our expanding team. We are seeking candidates who want to work in a creative and collaborative environment to successfully deliver Muller's numerous transportation projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design transportation facilities, including interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and multimodal facilities
- Prepare studies, reports, plans, and construction packages for a wide variety of transportation projects
- Support Project Managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and subconsultant coordination
- Coordinate and work with a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians on various design support tasks
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Lead design for multidisciplinary projects
- Perform field observation work when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Education and / or Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university6-10 years of experience in the design of transportation facilitiesKnowledge and experience with MicroStation / OpenRoads or AutoCAD / Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineeringKnowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office productsExperience with Colorado DOT (or other state DOT) plan preparation procedures and standardsExcellent written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skillsA desire to grow personally and professionally while working in a team environment to create designs supporting our clients' overall project goalsHydraulics and / or traffic experience is a plusRequired License or Certification :
Active Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to transfer a license from another state within 6 months of hireSalary range for this position is : $95,000 / yr - $120,000 / yr and is dependent on individual education, experience and qualifications
