Responsibilities Position based in a general ultrasound unit with a patient population heavy on obstetrics Techs perform a variety of adult and OB exams along with general and some vascular for DVT studies Procedures include abdominal, portables, vascular (lower extremity venous, carotid), and women's health (OB, transvaginal, uterus, ovaries) Skills required include fetal anatomical survey, umbilical cord Doppler, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fine needle aspiration, and Doppler studies Rotating 4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00-17 : 30 and 8 : 00-18 : 30 with rotating call Locals are accepted for this position First-time travelers will be considered Techs cover a wide range of cases, with a primary focus on OB and DVT studies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support imaging needs for adult and OB / GYN patients RTO must be submitted up front COVID-19 vaccination may be required per facility policy Professional presentation is required, as well as adherence to the facility dress code Requirements Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience including maternal fetal medicine and obstetric sonography ARDMS certification required, with OB registry preferred Demonstrated ability to perform general, OB, and vascular sonography studies Experience in adult, ER, and portable sonography exams Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627768.
