Credit Resolution Representative

A company is looking for a Credit Resolution Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Perform refund and credit analyses, audit, and reimbursement functions for various payors

Conduct quarterly reviews for Medicare and Medicaid and manage desk inventory

Handle correspondence from payers and patients regarding refunds and communicate issues to management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred

1 - 3 years of experience in a hospital business environment performing billing and / or follow-up functions preferred

Entry-level understanding of hospital billing form requirements (UB04 and HCFA 1500)

Entry-level knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS / CPT coding, and medical terminology

Understanding of Managed Care contracts and government payor regulations preferred
