Shift : B Shift (2 : 00 PM 10 : 30 PM)
Description :
- This is a Non-Exempt Hourly Position*
- Candidates must be compliant with DOD / ITAR requirements
- PPE : Steel toe shoes, safety glasses (non-prescription provided), clean room gown (provided).
Job Requirements :
- Manufacturing tasks in compliance with work instructions
- Fabrication of optical components, Specifically Thin Film Coatings
- Ability to read drawings
- Inspecting / Testing optics and optical systems
- Performing calculations, quality tests, inspection on optical components
- Interact effectively in a team environment
- Possess exceptional fine motor skills
- Possess basic math skills
- Technical curiosity and competence
- Hand / eye coordination / manual dexterity / attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and focus on multiple objectives at a time
- PC skills and ability to operate electronic equipment
This position includes significant duties such as :
- Glass handling and / or glass inspection experience preferred
- Performs operations in compliance with work instructions and process sheets
- Perform inspection by reading and interpret drawings, blueprints according to specifications
- Completes production logistics by moving / transacting materials and information through the production system
- Monitors process and records data
- Performs quality tests, measurements, and inspections
- Prepares material. with plant systems (e.g. document control, manufacturing execution system)
- Responsible for housekeeping and autonomous maintenance
- Communicates effectively and updates / maintains records when required
- Actively engages with continuous improvement and cost reduction programs
