Regional Sales Manager - 1st Shift ajc
Maintain contact with existing customers to maintain consistent sales of services and parts within budgeted guidelines.
- Solicit and develop new accounts.
- Follow markets and market trends, advise customers in timely fashion of changes occurring regarding pricing and improved technologies.
- Resolve issues regarding pricing, quality, payment, and other items with both external and internal customers.
- Work with management to set annual budgets.
- Review gross margin reports and ensure pricing and purchases allow for attainment of budgeted goals.
- Schedule travel appropriately to visit customers on regular and as-needed basis in accordance with budget. Travel is anticipated approximately 10-25%.
- Coordinate sales approach with sister Company Pinnacle Engineering to refer engineering services where possible.
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Safety : Wears all necessary PPE while in the production areas including at customer sites. Follows company safety standards at all times and follows customer safety standards when at customer sites.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, accounting, business or other related field preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales role required.
Experience in metals recycling industry or heavy manufacturing industry preferred. Must have the ability to develop effective working relationships with customers;
ability to multi-task and be a self-starter. Basic computer knowledge and proficiency required. Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
Occasional overnight travel while on the job may be necessary.
