Tracking Code 4173-046 Job Description Reporting to the IMM Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the parts and attachment WG warehouse operations, which includes providing direct leadership to all non-production warehouse staff and is responsible for its operational performance.
Major Duties :
- Provide leadership and management within the warehouse to ensure the processing of all deliveries and shipments of parts and attachment WG in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized. Confirm all parts are stored properly, and binned accordingly within the business system.
- Oversee or perform receiving and putting away of all parts and Attachment WGs in their proper locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure all parts and Attachment WGs have addresses within the ERP system
- Setup warehouse for wave picking of parts and constantly working on improving picking times and accuracy
- Investigate problem orders, receiving issues, and inventory inaccuracies in an effort to improve overall inventory precision.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory at all times, Coordinate and help perform bin checks, cycle counts, as well as prepare and coordinate the annual inventory count.
- Monitor picking and shipping quality to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and shipped with appropriate packaging.
- Monitor accuracy and completeness of pick lists and shipping documents, follow up on errors to improve overall quality.
- Work closely with the parts department and Order Desk to insure documentation is correct for domestic and international shipments as well as providing shipment tracking when requested to close out orders.
- Identify opportunities and implement processes to increase efficiencies within the warehouse.
- Ensure parts and WGs meet Brandt standards of visual appearance before being shipped, work with plant to bring parts and WGs up to standard as required
- Operate material handling equipment as well as receive, pick and ship orders as required.
- Work with Brandt Traffic to arrange freight for shipping of Attachment WGs. Work with freight and logistics companies for competitive pricing and best shipping lanes for parts.
- Work with Brandt logistics to keep-up-to-date with industry shipping standards.
Required Skills The successful candidate will manage with a highly visible hands-on approach; they will have very strong leadership skills and be good at managing people.
Must be process driven with the ability to identify when processes need attention, changed or created. Strong computer skills are also a requirement.
Attention to detail and organization will be a definite asset. Experience within warehouse management and / or inventory management is preferred
