About The Position
We are seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Dec 15, 2025. This unique hybrid opportunity features clinic-based pediatric care plus limited inpatient and newborn nursery responsibilities, with a Monday-Friday schedule and 1 : 3 inpatient call rotation.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide clinic-based pediatric care to patients from newborn through 17 years oldSee 13–15 patients per day on call days and approximately 20 patients per day on non-call daysConduct well-child checks, acute visits, and behavioral / ADHD managementSchedule 20- and 40-minute appointments as appropriateCover inpatient pediatric admissions (rare, typically older adolescents)Manage newborn nursery census of 1–5 babies per dayAttend deliveries when indicated by OB / FBC staff or per high-risk criteriaHandle after-hours “Mommy Calls” (average 0–10 per night, higher in winter months)Collaborate with OB, FBC, and hospital staff as neededAdditional Information
Must have completed at least 25 vaginal deliveries and 10 C-section assists within the past 24 monthsExperience with both clinic and hospital settings preferredBoard certification in Pediatrics requiredOregon state medical license requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications requiredMust be comfortable attending deliveries per OB high-risk criteriaBenefits
