Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for setups, operation, and editing of codes on a variety of CNC machinery. The role involves drilling and milling components for the aerospace and oil / gas industries. This position requires job shop experience due to the necessity of longer setups and specific machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery.
• Edit and manage G&M codes for machinery operation.
• Drill and mill components specifically for aerospace and oil / gas industries.
• Utilize job shop experience to manage longer setups and complex machining processes.
• Operate and program machinery using Fanuc systems, including lathe and mill.
• Ensure precision and quality in machining through the use of calipers and micrometres.

Work Environment

Our facility operates two shifts : 1st shift from 6am to 4 : 30pm, where programming skills are required, and 2nd shift from 4pm to 4am, which includes a 15% premium and is suitable for operators. The shop is clean, cool, and equipped with modern machinery and technology to support advanced machining processes.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00 / yr.
